I just back from my first vinyasa style hot yoga class. Can I just say–I AM HOOKED !! I absolutely loved it! I was a little nervous that I wouldn’t be able to do it. My tummy argued with me ALL day!
I was SO excited before class, I felt like a kid on the first day of school!
My hubby was so sweet to drive me to class. It was an hour away and I had NO idea where I was going!
All sweaty after class! I had the best runner’s high–without the running!
How did I fuel for this class today?
Pre-breakfast: fresh veggie juice
Breakfast: Oatgurt with protein powder, soaked sunflower seeds & Sunbutter
Lunch: Sunshine burger over spinach with 1/2 avocado and kabocha squash with Sunbutter. I also had a sunbutter bar before lunch(not pictured).
About two hours before class, I had a small banana with MORE Sunbutter. I think I’m addicted to sunbutter:)
Immediately after class I drank coconut water with lime. Coconut water is Nature’s Gatorade.
When I got home, I had a piece of gluten free sprouted bread with organic all fruit preserves (no picture as it went in my tummy too fast:)
I can’t wait to go back to class. It is only once a week but I WILL be practicing at home—with a heater on full blast:)
Have a good night! I’m probably going to sleep like a baby:)

hee hee, I’m glad you had a great class! I do hope you sleep well tonight, too!
Oh and I just received a sample packet of sunbutter…I can’t wait to try it too!
So glad you liked your class! I did hot vinyasa yoga too today, and whew, it was tough. Felt great afterwards though…would have felt even better if I’d had that big glass of coconut water!
I’m trying a new oatgurt experiment this week. Soooo excited – I hope it’s yummy.
That’s awesome you enjoyed the class! I need to buy sunbutter asap.. I used to love it with prunes!
Your oatgurt looks so good I’m tempted to make some!

Hi Kim,
I am so excited for you and all the blessings that God has brought your way……from finding things that are good for your tummy to eat, to exercising, etc. etc. God is faithful and good! You are a blessing and God is going to use your “suffering” (Celiac/tummy problems) to bless many others. He already is. Don’t loose heart! I’m glad you found something to replace running for the time being. Way to go friend!!
Hi Hope(my kindred spirit:),
Thank you so much for the sweet comment. I couldn’t believe it when I saw your name on here:) Yes, God is SO good–He blessed me with a friend like you didn’t he?!
XOXO
Yay for sweet husbands
. Good to hear you enjoyed that yoga class so much!
Haha you and Heather convinced me to make oatgurt. I am in the process of soaking the oat groats now
. Sunbutter that good, eh? I must search for some then!
Maria,
You will love the oatgurt!! I am O-U-T at the moment and it is freaking me out a little:) Sunbutter is good. I only started eating it when I realized I can’t eat nuts, but I really like it! I think I went a little overboard yesterday–nah:)
